New AI Tool Is Helping Elders In Rural Idaho Better Manage Chronic Illness

New AI Tool Is Helping Elders

Boise, Idaho—June 20, 2023—CareYaya Health Technologies, is excited to announce its expansion into the Idaho market. With the goal of revolutionizing personalized care and support for individuals with chronic metabolic conditions, CareYaya has developed an innovative AI companion called Cara. This groundbreaking technology has already garnered attention from local experts and is set to make a significant impact on the community.

Available for in-person interviews is Leah Gallant, a Ph.D. candidate in Psychology at UNC and collaborator with CareYaya. Leah is currently in Boise for her residency at Boise Neuropsychology under the supervision of Dr. Craig W. Beaver, Ph.D., ABPP-CN, where she works with patients who are experiencing cognitive changes from health-related issues and from Traumatic Brain Injuries. Recognizing the potential of CareYaya’s AI companion Cara, Leah has been actively exploring how this technology can aid individuals in personalized meal planning for chronic metabolic conditions. Her expertise and firsthand experience with patients will shed light on the incredible opportunities CareYaya presents.

Leah Gallant states, “Cara has been an unlock for patients managing their metabolic comorbidities while addressing their cognitive needs. By providing real-time guidance on nutrition and exercise, we are empowering individuals to focus on their recovery without the added stress of managing their dietary requirements.”

Katherine Fitzgerald, Public Heath Coordinator, CareYaya, will be available for interviews to discuss her work with the organization. A student at UNC Chapel Hill, originally from Boise, Katherine has been instrumental in the onboarding of families, caregivers, and outreach programs. Her insights on the role of AI and care tech in transforming communities will provide valuable perspectives to the Idaho audience.

CareYaya aims to expand its reach and impact by collaborating with universities in the vicinity. Katherine and Leah will explore partnerships with nearby educational institutions to integrate CareYaya into student populations, thereby maximizing the benefits of this revolutionary care technology. This AI tool can help elders with personalized nutrition and meal planning to better manage metabolic conditions and live healthier at home.

“We are thrilled to introduce CareYaya and Cara to the Idaho market,” said Neal Shah, CEO at CareYaya. “The potential for transforming care for individuals with chronic metabolic conditions is immense. We invite the Idaho community to join us in this exciting journey towards a brighter future in healthcare.” ISI
